Life took an exciting turn for Cathy and Marco at the end of 2019. After over 50 years in Luxembourg, they decided to embark in a new adventure: opening a Bed and Breakfast in Tuscany, Italy.
Their professional paths may not have initially pointed towards hospitality – Marco, an IT enthusiast, and Cathy, with a childhood hotel dream that took a different professional turn – but together, they decided to chase this passion project.
But unfortunately, the Covid-Crise stopped the project for a long time…. but now, a few years later, they are happy to say that in 2024 theIR Bed & breakfast “Villa Olivemare B&B” in Pietrasanta has finally opened his doors.
For Marco, as Italian and Cathy been captivated by the beauty of Italy, Tuscany was a natural choice due to the stunning landscapes, the beautiful coastlines, the rich culture and of course the delicious food

Within Tuscany, Pietrasanta was their choice. Set in the heart of Versilia near Lucca, Pietrasanta is an enchanting City of Art with medieval origin. It is a center of international interest for art and sculpture for marble and bronze work.
